The University of Cambridge, Engineering Design Centre has developed a new "getting started" process, which has delivered practical benefits where the research group has collaborated on a number of real world inclusive design projects.

This "getting started" process is based on three core activities for inclusive concept generation: Explore, Create, and Evaluate. These activities help to answer the three fundamental questions of design, which are: What are the needs? How can the needs be met? How well are the needs being met?

The next stage in the development of the "getting started" process is to integrate it within the exiting inclusive design toolkit. Therefore, in keeping with the philosophy of this toolkit, we are seeking user feedback on this new content before we launch the final version. The following prototypes of this content are therefore available to download for your evaluation and comments.

Please e-mail us your feedback at edc-toolkit@eng.cam.ac.uk.
